ISLAMABAD, Dec 21 (FD): The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination has sent a summary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to remove Ramiz Raja as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman.
Sources said the summary had also proposed removal of Asad Ali Khan as chairman of the Board of Directors. The ministry has recommended the names of Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh for the top posts in the PCB.
The prime minister would get approval of the summary from his cabinet.
Last week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Najam Sethi amid speculations about the latter replacing Ramiz Raja the PCB chief.
