PM invites Chinese firms to invest in renewable energy projects

ISLAMABAD, Dec 08 (INP-WealthPK) – – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked Chinese businesses to extensively invest in renewable energy projects in Pakistan, especially solar energy.

He was speaking to a group from the Third Engineering Bureau of China Construction, which was led by Tan Guofu, the vice chairman of the organisation.

Tan Guofu’s promise to invest more money in Pakistani energy and infrastructure projects was valued by the prime minister. He noted his recent discussion with the company’s president while in China and remarked that the relationships between Pakistan and China are excellent in all fields.

He also praised the company for its assistance to Pakistan’s flood victims. The meeting was also attended by senior government officials, including Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Zafaruddin Mehmood.
