Need stressed to train younger generations in digital technologies

ISLAMABAD, Dec 05 (INP-WealthPK)— Acting President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Hamza Sarosh has said that future belongs to those who embrace technology and scientific competitiveness. He said that our younger generations need to be trained in the emerging skills of the digital technologies so that they can compete with their counterparts anywhere around the world.

He was speaking at the 7th Multidisciplinary Student Research International Conference at the University of Wah. He said that no nation can progress without focusing on research, development, shared growth, and common culture.

He highlighted the youth bulge of the country and said that 60% of our population is youth, therefore, it is very important to focus on training and equipping them for in modern skills. He said emerging technologies can help them seek jobs and start businesses in the modern tech infrastructure.

He said, “fourth industrial revolution is already underway. We need to catch the trend before we are left behind.”

He added that the RCCI will create opportunities for youth to become job seekers in the newly emerging fields. He said that training workshops and interactive sessions will be held with students to help them learn more about opportunities, innovation and entrepreneurship.

He congratulated the organizing team of the 7th Multi-disciplinary Student Research International Conference-2022 and assured them of RCCI’s support and assistance.
