Relations with Romanian defence industries to be strengthened: Minister

ISLAMABAD, Oct 31 (INP-WealthPK): Federal Minister for Defence Production Muhammad Israr Tareen has expressed the desire to further strengthen bilateral relations with Romanian defence industries.

The minister expressed these views during a meeting with Romanian Ambassador Nicolae Gola, a press release received by WealthPK said.

The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and ways of enhancing cooperation in defence production.

Israr Tareen mentioned that there are many areas for joint ventures and mutual cooperation in defence production that could be fully utilised. The minister offered products of Pakistan’s defence industry to the Romanian armed forces.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation in the field of defence production. They showed a keenness to expand the existing relationship.

The Romanian ambassador said that Pakistan is a very important country with a rich culture, a working democracy, a vibrant economy, and hospitality. He showed his ambition to improve relations between the two countries.
