ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (INP-WealthPK): Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman has said Pakistan is using nature-based solutions to build climate resilience.

In this regard, she said a national adaptation plan would be prepared to reduce vulnerabilities to climate impacts by creating comprehensive medium and long-term plans.

Speaking in the National Assembly, she said that Pakistan Climate Resilient Urban Policy Framework was being formulated, which will take into account opportunities and challenges in achieving green and resilient urban development, reports WealthPK.

She said Pakistan was sustaining immense losses due to the climate crisis despite the fact that it had a very negligible share in greenhouse gas emissions.
