Army Chief reaches Karachi, to visit flood-hit Badin

KARACHI, Sep 23(ABC): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday reached Friday to visit the flood-hit areas of Sindh.

According to a statement issued on Friday by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief has reached Karachi and he will later in the day will travel on to Badin.

During his visit to the district, the COAS will also meet Army troops who are busy in relief activities in Badin.

It may be mentioned here that General Bajwa had recently visited several flood-ravaged cities of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
