LAHORE, July 8(ABC): In a move to make the journey safe, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) banned the landing of flights from 5am to 8am at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore from July 11.
The ban has been imposed for two months after several incidents of collision of birds with flights.
Domestic and international flights have been asked to strictly implement the order. However, flights will be allowed to make emergency landing.
The CAA spokesman said that an increase in arrival of birds has been witnessed due to monsoon.
