DUBAI, June 18 (ABC): Pakistan Men’s National Cricket Team have continued climbing the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings as the Green Shirts have now clinched the third place in the latest rankings.
The Shaheens, who dethroned India last week to claim the fourth rank in the ODI rankings, have continued to march up as they have now occupied third place in the latest rankings.
Following Australia’s defeat to Sri Lanka by 26 runs in the second ODI of the series, the Kangaroos lost two vital ranking points and allowed Pakistan to dethrone them from the third position.
New Zealand lead the Men’s ODI Team Rankings with 125 rating points, followed by second-ranked England with 124 points. Pakistan, on the other hand, are in third with 106.
It is important to note that Australia still have three matches left against Sri Lanka, and if they win them, they can reclaim the third place.
