Petroleum dealers threatens to strike on 18 July

ISLAMABAD, July 2(ABC): Petroleum dealers association threatens to strike from July 18 if government does not increase profit, said association chairman Abdul Sami Khan on Saturday.

Petrol pumps remains closed until government accepts demands. Government representatives neither know about anything nor they want to hear, said chairman, after increase in petrol we are going in lose instead of profit and bike riders are most worried class.

He further said that former government committed to increase profit to 4% from June but the profit has not been increased. He said investment has been increased and bank interested has also been increased to 13%, he continues, we are under pressure by dealers and if the government does not fulfill demand then we have to make hard decisions.
