Islamabad, March 29 ((INP): A Chinese company denied a media’s report that 200 workers were laid off following the terriorts’ attack on Chinese personnel in Basham.
The company referred to its Office order dated 26th March which says, ” All workers of the Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project will back to their duties at the site after a short time of work’s suspension.
All the workers and office staff will get their related rights of the short suspension period, as per the labor law.”.
The report of continued suspension of work and laying off the workers are not true, the company added.
