BEIJING, Feb. 5 (INP): Huaneng Shandong Ruyi (Pakistan) Energy Limited (HSR) has launched a computer secretary training course, involving 25 local young people.

The training program mainly includes basic computer skills, document processing, spreadsheet creation, and PowerPoint presentation design, as well as other practical employment skills.

Due to the local economic conditions, it is difficult for individuals to afford computers. The trainees stated that by participating in the training, they can master computer operation and establish a solid foundation for their future job search.

“I am grateful for this free learning opportunity from Huaneng. My family cannot afford a computer, so I do not know much about computers.

This course helps me acquire fundamental knowledge of computer and office skills. I will study hard and continuously improve my skills and abilities in order to create more opportunities for my future career,” said Muhammad Usman, one of the 25 trainees.

This is the fourth training course held by Sahiwal Coal Power Station after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Before that, Huaneng Ruyi Technical Training School had conducted training courses in mechanical, electrical, chemical water treatment, and coal technology.

The teaching team consists of experienced and professional engineers. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, students can deepen their understanding and mastery of theoretical knowledge through practical application.

Technical and skilled labor is essential for the economic growth of Pakistan. Established in June 2017, the training school aims to produce skilled youth who will be able to provide skilled labor to the plant locally in the future.

The facility spans approximately 3,000 square meters and includes 14 classrooms and 15 operational classrooms.

It offers free boarding and lodging for students during training sessions. According to HSR, more than 5,000 local youths have been trained since the school was founded, Gwadar Pro reported on Monday.
