GUJRANWALA, Nov 2 (FD): PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry hit back at criticism that the party’s long march was moving slowly, saying it would proceed at its own pace, adding “we will also keep changing our plan to reach Islamabad to baffle the government.”

PML-N Vice president Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah keep questioning why the march is proceeding slowly, he said. “I want to tell them [that] we will move according to our own pace not according to yours.”

He said that the party could give dates for reaching Rawalpindi and Islamabad one day and change them the next. “You will have to do the guesswork daily.”

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has called on the nation to join the party’s march. Addressing the media in Gujranwala, he said that every single person who wanted to change the system should become a part of the march.

“Change doesn’t come by sitting at home. You have to take to the streets for it,” he said, adding that the party hoped to get the people’s support everywhere they went.

This movement is to ensure accountability and to fix the system of Pakistan. he said.

He wondered why federal Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir had not been arrested as yet, especially since he had admitted to putting up banners targeting the PTI in Gujranwala.

“Legal action should be taken against him,” he said, highlighting that the minister’s father had also launched a similar campaign against Fatima Ali Jinnah.

“I believe the Punjab government must act against Dastgir,” he said.
