Pakistan’s exports, imports decline in July

ISLAMABAD, August 4(ABC): During the first month of fiscal year 2022-23, Pakistan’s exports shrank near a quarter over the previous month and 5.2% over the corresponding month of the last fiscal year, data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) showed Tuesday.

Similarly, according to The News, imports also plunged by 38.3% over the previous month and 12.8% over the same month a year ago.

The monthly trade bulletin showed that goods exports in July 2022 stood at $2.219 billion against $2.92 billion in June 2022 and $2.43 billion in July 2021.
