JM Aazath, whose real name is Mahmmad Aazad, in his first book compromising of short stories in Balochi “Chorahi Giran Int” (Orphanage is Tough), narrates the stories of his surroundings, which compel the readers to observe and ponder about the society as well as pen down some stories for the new readers.
JM, in one of his short stories “Maa Kul Baloch ey” (We are all Baloch) states that the poor, who are following the leaders, should be smart. Since the leaders always use them for their purposes. He suggests that do not follow anyone blindly but ideologically.
At the beginning of another story “Baloch ey an” (I am a Baloch), he was disappointed that why he were a Baloch owing to the situations of his motherland as he, along with the rest, had been kept slave. But at the end, he realized that there had been several nations which endured the indecent smell of slavery, so they could taste the fruits of freedom someday as the people were being united slowly.
Aazath, an another story “Mehr” (Love) narrates the common weaknesses of an ignorant society. The society which does not value the real love of two partners before marriage, as usual if a girl loves a boy truly is considered the biggest sin for the girl along her parents. He promotes equity between the genders.
The book “Chorahi Giran Int” is full of other fetching stories as orphanage is hard. It tells its readers about the unbearable moments when someone, who is the closest and the shadow of one’s in all seasons, leaves you without your intentions.
JM Aazath makes the real faces of the people visible with his tiny stories; however, he mentions the innocent tales of the girls, who come easily in the cage of some unethical boys. They love to play with their feelings by acting as they love them seriously, but not.
